CommercialSource Online Convention Privacy Policy
The CommercialSource Online Convention & Trade Show ("Convention") has created this privacy statement to demonstrate its firm commitment to privacy. Be aware that Sponsors/Exhibitors may have different privacy policies. The following sets forth our privacy practices for this event only.
Security
The Convention has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Except as set forth in this privacy policy, the Convention and its Sponsors/Exhibitors will not sell or share your personal email address or other contact information with any third parties for any reason without your express consent, except when required by law or valid legal process.
Information
The Convention uses the customer contact information provided by you on the Convention's registration form to send you information about the Convention and the information may also be used to contact you when necessary in connection with your participation in the Convention. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the opt-out section below. Your contact information will also be shared with any Sponsor/Exhibitor whose trade show booth you visit during the Convention.
The Convention gathers the following information: contact information that you provide (for example, your company name, geographic location, phone number, email address, and business specialty); tracking information that Convention's Web server uses to recognize visitors through the use of tracking information such as cookies; and any other personal information that you may volunteer (for example, designations, specialties, affiliations with other real estate organizations, and general demographic data) will also be collected. The Convention also gathers user information to monitor usage of the Convention website.
The Convention may also aggregate the data that it receives from you with the other user data, such as the geographic location of Convention attendees or REALTOR® associations to which attendees belong. This information may be shared with third parties in its aggregated form for purposes of promoting the value of the Convention. The aggregated data will not reveal any personal information about you.
The Convention contains links to other websites. The Convention is not responsible for the privacy practices nor the content of any such websites.
Message Boards
The Convention makes booths, a free linking system, message boards, and other similar facilities available to its users. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise reasonable discretion when deciding to disclose your personal information. Since the Convention firmly believes in the value of free and open exchanges, it makes no effort and is under no obligation to monitor, pre-screen, or otherwise censor your thoughts and opinions. Therefore, the Convention is not responsible for the appropriateness, accuracy, sufficiency, correctness, veracity, completeness, or timeliness of such thoughts and opinions. Please use caution when posting any personally identifying information about yourself. Also, remember that when visiting booths of Sponsors/Exhibitors, your contact information is provided automatically to that vendor.
Opt-Out
The Convention provides you with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications regarding the Convention and have your contact information removed from the Convention database. You can send an opt-out email here, or send an email to webmaster@commercialsource.com and put "opt out" in the subject line of the email.
Note the Convention opt-out does not apply to Sponsors/Exhibitors, who will receive your Contact information as set forth above if you visit their trade show booth. You will need to opt-out separately with each Sponsors/Exhibitor from whom you do not want to receive additional communications.
